I own full rights to this tutorial. Please let me know if this has helped you or if you have questions.

For this tutorial you will need...
• Your site model or celebrity image cut out.
• Your desired brush defined.
• A pre-done gradient or a desired colour scheme for the gradient.

Step 1

Create 10 new layers, then move the site model layer to the top of the layers.

Step 2

Double click your site model layer and you should see a box appear. When it does go to 'Stroke' and using the colour #FFFFFF (White) match your setting's to mine and press OK.

Step 3

Merge the layer down and then double click it again and go to 'Stroke'. Change the 'Fill Type' to 'Gradient' and select the desired gradient (make sure it matches your colour scheme). Then match your other setting's to mine and press OK.

Step 4

Merge the layer down and then double click it again and go to 'Stroke'. Make sure the 'Fill Type' is set to 'Color', then using the colour #4A4A4A match your setting's to mine and press OK.

Step 5

Merge the layer down and then double click it again and go to 'Stroke'. Change the 'Fill Type' to 'Pattern' and using either scan lines or scan dots match your setting's to mine.

Step 6

Select the 'Magic Wand Tool'.

Step 7

Match your wand setting's to mine.

Step 8

Click the transparent part of the site model cut out so it selects like the image below.

Step 9

Go to 'Select > Inverse'.

Step 10

Now go to 'Select > Modify > Expand'.

Step 11

Set the 'Expand By' option to around '17 pixels'.

Step 12

Select the 'Gradient Tool'.

Step 13

Now where the gradient preview is select the same gradient you used in 'Step 3' and match your other setting's to mine. Now create a blank layer and put it underneath the site model cut out layer. Next using the left click on your mouse, click at the bottom of the cut out and whilst holding down the shift key and the left clicker move the cursor up to the top so a line follows you. Once you've reached the top release the left click and shift key so your gradient shows. Next select the brush tool, and select the brush you wish to use, now set the foreground colour to #362f48 and apply your brush on the gradient layer.

Step 14

Double click the gradient layer and go to 'Stroke', using the colour #FFFFFF (White) match your setting's to mine and press OK.

Step 15

Merge the layer down and double click it again and go to 'Stroke'. Change the 'Fill Type' to 'Gradient' and using the same gradient you've been using throughout this tutorial match your setting's to mine and press OK.

Step 16

Merge the layer down and again double click the layer and go to 'Stroke'. Using the colour #4A4A4A match your setting's to mine and press OK.

Step 17

Merge the layer down and for the final time double click the layer and go to 'Stroke'. Change the 'Fill Type' to 'Pattern'. Using the same scan dot or scan line pattern as before, match your setting's to mine and press OK. Then do a right click on the layer and press 'Merge Visible'.
